Hello! I’m Kim Pham.
I am a digital marketing professional with a passion for food and traveling. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a focus on Advertising and PR from California State University Dominguez Hills.
I originally wanted to start a blog to help other college graduates like myself figure out how to balance life and work while going to school; I thought I’d cover things like educational hacks and how to land a job after graduation. Instead, through attending many conferences and restaurant media tastings, I found myself inspired to share my culinary adventures that I’m privileged to attend through work or my network of media-influencer friends.
I’ve been truly blessed to have a solid, strong group of supportive, generous friends that I’ve meet through social media (on Twitter back in 2008) as well as at former companies I’ve worked. (You can read more about them on my Gratitude page.)
I enjoy traveling, eating, and reading marketing and self-improvement books. I will travel for food and usually plan by trips around food (food festivals or restaurants I want to visit). I aspire to be like Anthony Bourdain and be able to travel to explore food from all over the world.
Bourdain shares, “Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life – and travel – leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks – on your body or on your heart – are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt.”
I believe in endless learning: I am a member of Toastmasters International, AT&T’s Tech Talk Tuesdays, Social Media Mastermind of Orange County (SMMOC), Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), and Gigasavvy’s Social Club.
I am constantly curious and continuously seeking adventure. I love to explore and travel to connect with other mind-linked food and travel bloggers, and I’m excited to share my findings with you here.
Thank you for getting to know me. Nice to e-meet you!
